Celadon Floral is your Brunswick, Maine florist

About Eliza

I’ve been a florist for 19 years and within that time, have learned from some of the best designers in Maine and Massachusetts.
My interest in flowers and plants started at an early age. Both of my parents worked at a greenhouse in Virginia and in their spare time grew vegetables, colorful annuals in the summers and tended indoor houseplants, lemon trees and seedlings during the winter months.
In my youth, I knew I wanted to work with flowers, so after receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture, I threw myself into the world of horticulture. I completed a summer internship at Mount Holyoke College Botanic Garden which laid the groundwork for my knowledge of plants in general (seed collection, germination, plant identification, planting, dividing, staking, soil health and cultivation). Afterwards, I set my sights on learning everything I could about flowers and design.
My experience is vast and hands on. I’ve worked in several retail flower shops, specialty plant nurseries and over the past 13 years, have managed all aspects of design for weddings and events.

Along with growing, sourcing and designing beautiful flowers, I strive to deliver a superior customer service experience to my customers throughout the state of Maine.
