About Celadon Floral

Celadon Floral was founded in February 2021 in Brunswick, Maine by Eliza Gray.
After 20 years in the floral industry, Eliza saw an opportunity to bring high-end daily deliveries, wedding, and event florals to Midcoast Maine. Her romantic, nature-inspired designs feature distinctive blooms, elegant shapes, and textural foliage.
What sets Celadon Floral apart is its dedication to quality and a superior customer experience for both the sender and recipient. Flower freshness and longevity are top priorities. From spring through fall, Celadon sources both local and imported blooms, working closely with Maine farms via the Maine Flower Collective to highlight the season’s best offerings. In the winter months, flowers are sourced from the Dutch flower market, ensuring exceptional quality and variety year-round.

Eliza grew up around plants and flowers with both parents sharing an interest in home gardening and vegetable cultivation. Eliza remembers the moment she was inspired to work with flowers, growing up in Keene, New Hampshire, walking into a downtown flower shop.
After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from UMASS Amherst, she completed a summer internship at Mount Holyoke College Botanic Garden, where she gained valuable knowledge in seed collection, germination, plant identification, planting, dividing, staking, soil health, and cultivation. She then started her career in flowers, learning every aspect of the business as a retail florist.
Today, she runs her business from a home studio in Brunswick, where she grows her own flowers and foliage in addition to importing blooms from other local, domestic and international sources.
