With the change of the seasons, it’s nice to embrace the shift by switching out summer annuals and replacing with hardier plants with new fall colors and textures.
The pot below was an on-site design using my client’s own containers at her front entrance. I was inspired by the peach, burgundy and purple tones available. I used annual grasses, kale, mums, asters and Heuchera ‘Cherry Cola’ and planted everything in Coast of Maine potting soil. In early December, I’ll transition this container to a seasonal winter design with evergreens, winterberries, red twig dogwood and kiwi vine.
