I’ve heard it many times before: “I’ve never really been a fan of roses, but these are beautiful!”

Roses add focal interest, color and longevity to arrangements, especially in the winter months when I rely heavily on imported flowers. 

Most standard roses are packaged in sleeves of 25 stems. Garden roses are packaged in 10 stem bunches. 

Below are some of my favorite tried-and-true rose varieties. This list is based on longevity, shape, unique color, head size and how well the petals unfurl.
