Thanksgiving Centerpieces

Fall and Spring (the shoulder seasons) offer some of the best flowers and greenery, in my opinion. When the local flower farms have put their gardens to bed, I begin reconnecting with the flower wholesalers who import beautiful and unique flowers from all over the world.
In the Fall, I will source interesting seed heads, berries and branches, unusual roses, mums, orchids and lilies. Tulips, Amaryllis and other “spring” flowers start becoming available, which I absolutely love.
The arrangement pictured above includes ‘Saltarello’ Lilies, Clematis, purple Kale from my garden, Ornamental Kale, Nerine Lilies, Anemones, Cymbidium Orchids, ‘Football’ Mums and Olive and Magnolia foliage.
