Valentine’s Day Flowers

I left the house at 4am and was back from the New England Flower Exchange by 8:45am.
Nothing compares to going to the market to hand pick product. My go-to vendors are Kelley Wholesale, Carbone’s and Cupp and Cupp.
The market has changed a lot since when I first went in 2005. The “old” market used to be on Albany Street in a big old warehouse. Traveling there from Maine was a real treat around the holidays. There were so many vendors, so many flowers, foliage and plants. It was a feast for the eyes.

This morning, I picked up the flowers I had pre-ordered back in January and spent a little time hand selecting some other flower varieties that jumped out at me.
Pictured above: Hydrangea, Ranunculus, Hyacinth, Narcissus, Fantail Pussy willow, Pon Pon Ranunculus and Anemone.
