A September Wedding at the Family Farm

Laney and Tommy married at his family's farm in Maine in mid-September.

Laney and Tommy pose on the lawn of his parents’ family farm.

Laney and Tommy are both from Maine but met for the first time in Bali. Their wedding flowers featured bits of tropical flowers and foliage to remind them of that special time many years ago.
I’ve always loved the idea of getting married at home or a significant place that is special for the family. With a smaller wedding, you can do that.
Laney and Tommy married at Tommy’s family farm in Maine- complete with expansive and lush perennial gardens and a brand new barn that was the perfect setting for their indoor ceremony. For months (and months) their families each contributed to the vision for the day- a welcoming and natural inspired backdrop. Every corner of the farm was considered. They covered every detail. On-site, the families were energetic and excited to celebrate the blending of their families. It was a truly heartwarming experience and I will always remember it.

Laney’s bouquet features Maine grown ‘Pink Pearl’ Dahlias, white Lisianthus, white Cosmos, Frosted Explosion Grass, and bronze Amaranthus (all sourced from the Maine Flower Collective) with imported white Anthurium, Umbrella Fern and burgundy and white Ranunculus.
